Tibetan Cranial (TC) is an ancient healing art designed to promote our innate capacity for self-healing. It uses subtle touch to the head, face, palate, jaw, and neck, based on a sophisticated assessment of pulses. The pulse reading and other techniques are unique to Tibetan Cranial, differing from those used in Cranial-Sacral Therapy. TC carries the potential of transformation on many levels: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Many people have reported pain reduction as well as relief from a wide variety of symptoms, including headaches, migraines, back and neck discomfort, whiplash, anxiety, head injury, concussion, stress-related conditions, TMJ pain, depression, nervous-system related issues, and many other health...

Get to know more about one of our Tibetan Cranial Practitioners

Click below to read a beautiful article in VoyageLA, on Lian Hughes, one of Tibetan Cranial’s Practitioners working in Southern California. See how a chance treatment session back in 2007 changed her life. Here’s a brief snippet on how she found Tibetan Cranial: From Lian: I discovered Tibetan Cranial when I was going through my yoga teacher training course at Ananda Sevastopol Mission in Santa Rosa California. One of the directors of the program was an apprentice of Tibetan Cranial, named Deviika Ma. She offered me a treatment and after that I was hooked. It was the jaw adjustment that inspired me as I was having jaw issues at the time. I immediately called Colorado and booked a flight the summer of 2007 to meet with Shar Lee, the lineage carrier of Tibetan Cranial. Upon meeting Shar, she felt my pulses on my wrist and informed me that I was meant to be there because I have a healing pulse. I began my three-year apprenticeship and journey into Tibetan cranial. It took three years to complete the program and when I graduated Shar again checked my pulses to see if they changed and they had! I graduated in 2010 at Mt Shambhalla mountain center at our ceremony in the only Stupa in all of the US. I had brought Tibetan Cranial to Los Angeles and I continue to be the only practitioner in all of Southern California. Meet Lian Hughes of Heal Divine LEARN HOW TO BECOME A TIBETAN CRANIAL APPRENTICE Tibetan Cranial® is a healing modality that originated in the Himalayan highlands about 3,000 years ago and is now practiced in its traditional form in the West. TC Practitioners use their fingertips to read hundreds of pulses on the recipient’s head. With the pulses as their guide, Practitioners touch specific points on the neck and bones of the skull, including the face, the back of the head, and the palate. As the Practitioners apply gentle pressure, the pulses shift. The process continues until the pulses reach a place of balance. The practice is a disciplined approach, designed to re-align and restore our innate capacity for self healing. Recipients report that TC has led to transformation on all levels of their being: physical, mental,...

A letter from Shar

Dear Ones, As you know there was a wonderful training in September. Our community is expanding. We have our continuing Intern, Devon, as well as Janice and Anil, who are currently on sabbatical. Our upcoming Interns are, Donna Lambdin and Linda Moreau. Christine Madar, Robert Heliesen and Kate Bullings are being considered as possible future interns. This is evidence of our further expansion. We are more than honoured to share our latest spiritual journey as a community. This August, eight of our Practitioners and myself, traveled to Bhutan with the primary purpose of a meeting with His Holiness Rinpoche Nawang Tenzin of the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. We were graciously invited to his home for an afternoon and were received warmly, the Rinpoche having received Tibetan Cranial a few years previously. During our time with His Holiness, he honoured us profoundly by taking Tibetan Cranial into his lineage as well as giving to the nine of us, Medicine Buddha Empowerment, with the understanding that when we are ready we may empower others. Tibetan Cranial now has a recognised lineage which can be traced to Padmasambava! At that time also, Philae, Donna, Slip, Troy, Rhonda B, Star, Ronda L, Lillia and myself were given Tibetan names. From the place of expansion, as you might already know, we have released our first Intern as a Teacher. I am profoundly happy to introduce Philae, as our first Teacher. What this might mean for you as a Practitioner is the ability to have a Beginning Level Training for new apprentices in your community as well as an introductory lecture, demo and small clinic. Please contact Philae directly for any further discussion, your comments and suggestions are welcome. Light and Love,...

Become a Tibetan Cranial Apprentice! Join Us for the September 2016 Training

Next Tibetan Cranial Apprentice Training for Beginning and Continuing Students September 22 – 27, 2016: Woodland Park, Colorado >>> Click here to learn more about becoming a Tibetan Cranial Apprentice <<< Are you or someone you know interested in learning Tibetan Cranial? Are you drawn to do great work in the world? Are you interested in healing yourself and others? Do you already offer healing work and want to expand your skills and offerings?   About Tibetan Cranial A nearly extinct energetic healing modality passed down orally from Tibetan monks throughout the centuries, Tibetan Cranial work reconnects us to our innate healing capacity. While maintaining a state of prayer or mantra, practitioners read and interpret hundreds of pulses, which informs gentle touch applied to bones in the skull, jaw, palate, and neck. This work has been shown to alleviate great suffering from minor to chronic conditions and promote a profound sense of well-being. Since this work requires maintaining a steady state of mantra or prayer, practitioners need to have a strong spiritual practice. Yoga and meditation will be taught as part of the five-day retreat, so that apprentices can develop a daily, supportive spiritual practice.
